Xerox Earns Recognition for Citizenship Efforts

NORWALK, Conn. -- During the first half of 2010, a number of organizations that monitor corporate citizenship recognized Xerox Corporation for its ongoing efforts in the areas of sustainability, diversity, governance and ethics as well as efforts to provide employees a great place to work. This recognition includes:

FORTUNE magazine's annual ranking of the World’s Most Admired Companies places Xerox at the No. 4 position in the computer industry.

Corporate Responsibility Magazine ranked Xerox 38th on its 11th annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens List. The list is based on over 360 data points of publicly-available information in areas that include environment, climate change, human rights, philanthropy, employee relations, financial performance, and governance.

Sustainability
Xerox Germany is one of the top three companies to receive the German Sustainability Award in the category of sustainable recycling. The award was established to explore the current status of sustainable development in Germany, encourage the acceptance of ecological and social responsibility and identify role models. It was awarded in late 2009.

Diversity
Xerox was named to The 2010 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity® list for its demonstrated use of measurable diversity best practices and results.

Xerox was named to the Hispanic Business Supplier Diversity Top 25 list for 2010. To compile the list, Hispanic Business assesses management involvement in supplier diversity, procurement from minority suppliers and outreach efforts to minority suppliers.

Diversity MBA Magazine named Xerox to its fifth annual list of "50 Out Front for Diversity Leadership: Best Places for Diverse Managers To Work ." The list evaluates accountability, succession planning, representation, retention, and recruitment systems.

Xerox achieved a 100% rating on the 2010 Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work Survey, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. The 2010 Corporate Equality Index rates businesses on a scale from 0 to 100.

Xerox: A great place to work
IDG’s Computerworld named Xerox a 2010 “Best Places to Work in IT” for organizations that challenge its IT staff while providing great benefits and compensation.

Human Resource Executive magazine named Xerox to its list of “Most Admired for HR” companies, which is based on Fortune magazine’s Most Admired Companies list. The list focuses on management quality, product/service quality, people management and innovation.

Xerox Germany received the "certification Audit berufundfamlie” (Audit Job and Family) supported by the German government department for support of family, senior citizens, women and youth.

Xerox Greece was named one of the Best Workplaces in Greece for 2010 for the third, time and the only company represented in Xerox’s industry.

Ethics
Xerox was named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for 2010 by Ethisphere Institute. According to Ethisphere, Xerox secured a hard-earned spot on the list by going the extra mile, implementing upright business practices and initiatives that are instrumental to the company’s success, benefit the community, and raise the bar for ethical standards within the industry.
